The Cilessian Empire

In the time during the great war of all the Planets, Cilessia was known as one of the mightiest forces ever known. In short time , the Cilessians have successfully conquered their entire star system and poised to other parts in the galaxy. Their unyielding warpath is what led to the unification of the entire galaxy into the Galaxis Order. An order ruled by a single dominant figure: Black Anvel.

After the disappearance of Black Anvel, the Cilessians withdrew from other planets and focused on their own star system. No one knows why a proud race like the Cilessians would just give up their territory. Some believe that after the disappearance of Anvel , the Cilessians lost their will to conquer. But the truth behind the decision is unknown to all, save the empress.

Today The Cilessian Empire spans five planets. Three of which share the same orbit. Cilessia Prime – the Capitol planet – Cilessia two or “twin” – Dubbed so due to its remarkable similarity to Cilessia prime – and Cilessia 3 – Used primarily for hunting , the grand tournaments, and other Cilessian resort activities. The other two planets, Cilessia 4 and 5 are restricted to a degree. Cilessia 4, a network of asteroids in reality, is more of a Military outpost to defend against outsiders. Cilessia 5 – An Icy planet- is restricted to all personnel.


The Planet Cilessia prime

Cilessia prime is a large and beautiful green planet. The planets surface is covered almost entirely by large trees. These trees can grow up to a mile in diameter – at their widest - and several miles high. There are no major oceans on the planet, but it does have an interplanetary chain of large rivers that run both above and underneath the ground. Many of these large rivers are quite calm, so there are a lot of great beaches . The climate on the planet is not too unlike that of a tropical island. Not as muggy as a rainforest but at the same time very hot. The trees don’t rely on rainwater to feed; they feed on the nutrients that flow from the massive network of rivers and release water and oxygen as a byproduct of their unique method of photosynthesis. The planet’s surface has no mountains. Hills, and some rocky formations do exist. What isn’t covered with the massive trees, are long rolling plains that stretch out like oceans of grass. The plains are a sacred ground for Cilessians, as they do most of their hunting there. Building structures on the plains and river lands therein is STRICTLY forbidden. The Cilessians have a deep respect for their ecosystem.

Instead of Blue, Cilessia’s sky is a blue green color It is adorned with two suns in the daytime, making days extra long, and five moons. (Two of which are distant renditions of Cilessia twin and Cilessia three)

Cilessian cities are built on the foot, in the middle, and at the top canopy of these trees. Structures can be either carved directly into the trees, Built outside them, or built in the hollows of other trees. Some cities are built underground, in the massive hollows near the tree’s roots. However, these are mostly mining colonies.

Cilessia prime holds the Largest cities and colonies in the entire empire, including Ag’Naraat, the capital city, and home of the Jade Spire(The fortress of the empress) Though the surface is mostly covered with trees, these trees are nearly all made into living and working cities. To build these cities, the Cilessians form a sort of symbiotic relationship with a “sister” Race called the Dryahdi or “Dryads” , They are a short race of tree folk that live At the base of the trees rather than atop like Cilessians. Dryahdi Utilize high-level Gia magic , along with flayers of the same affinity, to help shape the trees to their will. Structures are assembled on the ground, and then lifted to the desired height using this method.

Dryahdi are treated with all honors by the Cilessian who, in exchange for the Dryahdi magic, protect the demure race from harm. They help the Dryahdi with anything they desire, and have given them free passage anywhere in their cities. The Dryahdi see The Cilessians as “Big sisters” They are simple folk, and don’t tread too often into Cilessian cities unless their curiosity gets the best of them. When/ if they do, they are treated very kindly by the Cilessians. This symbiotic relationship works well for both parties. The Cilessians are not well versed in Magic for the most part, and the Dryahdi help them with that. The Cilessians in turn protect the Dryahdi from the vicious beasts on the planet, and at times will hunt for them. Cilessians are taught to be very protective of their tree born kinsmen.

The Wasteland

The wasteland of Cilessia prime is the exact spot in which the Balbaros incident occurred. It is a large deserted area, littered with craters and the bones of those who are foolish enough to tread there. Nothing living remains in this place. It is a scorched desert devoid of all life , and filled with specters of the past.

Cilessia Twin

Geographically , Cilessia Twin is I identical to its sister planet, Cilessia prime . However, The cities here are not nearly as large or grand. In fact, Twin is known as sort of a “Country side”. Most of the nature, including the trees are unspoiled . The reason behind the sparse population of twin is that the monsters there are extremely vicious and protective. The Cilessians want to keep it that way. Because of this fact, only seasoned warriors are allowed to live there, and t is often times used as a harsh testing grounds for Warmaster apprentices.

Cilessia Three
Cilessia three is a partial Desert planet. It has no oceans but does have rivers as the other planets due, however not nearly as many. The planet’s surface is mostly covered by desert, save for the scattered network of Oasis’s that follow the rivers.

Cilessia three is the Center of Activity for the Cilessians. Nearly half of its civilization is geared towards entertaining activity. Activities such as ; The Grand Tournaments, Shows from other Cultures who travel there, Sporting events and Many other attractions. There is never a dull moment on this planet, and there is so much to do and see. Many warriors from different races come here to test their mettle or to obtain the finest of weaponry. It is also home for one of the largest trade centers in the galaxy.

Cilessia Three is the only place in the Cilessian Empire that allows Outsiders in freely, to work live or have fun. If they wish to visit the Mother planets, they must have a position that warrants their visit, such as ambassadors or a monarch of some kind. The Empress is very clear on this rule and violators are severely punished. Cilessians are very protective of their culture and heritage, which is why young Cilessians are not allowed to venture to the third planet, until they come of age.

Cilessia Four

Cilessia four is a restricted Zone . it is a military installation just inside their asteroid belt. The place can hardly be considered a planet really, as it is merely a set of large asteroids in a definitive orbit. However , it serves as the main base for the empires mighty forces.

Cilessia Five

Restricted to all personnel other than those directly chosen by the Empress herself, Cilessia Five is quite a mystery. After an investigation of the planet’s interior, the empress banned all travel there unless she gives their word. Why? Who knows such thing .

The planet’s surface is a big ball of Ice, you wouldn’t even know if it was even touched by sentient beings. However, beneath the Icy shell there lies a seemingly endless network of ancient temples and Holy monuments. Their origins are a mystery, but it was here that ExOdessa learned about the “Red Factor”
