SPECIALTY CLASSES

Flaykes and Flayers.

Flaykes (pronounced like “flakes”) are symbiotic, Fairy – like creatures that live on a number of planets throughout the galaxy. Sorry about the lack of descriptions but I suck at writing. They can’t really be “captured” or kept as a pet because they can choose to be seen or not seen, and can phase through anything. Flaykes embody thirteen elements:

Earth: Gaia Flayke
Fire: Fire Flayke
Wind: Wind Flayke
Water: Hydro Flayke
Light: Lumina Flayke
Darkness: Shadow Flayke
Time: Chrono Flayke (only 1 exists)
Non-elemental: Cyber (Artificial) Flayke (rare)
Plants: Eden Flayke
Beast: Beast Flayke
Soul: Ghost Flake
Chaos : Chaos Flayke
Creation: God Flayke

They are whimsical things, holding no real “sentience” but they do know emotion and act on instinct. They can travel through space at will, and can be seen as small specks of light when herding to other planets. They are about the size of an adult’s Head.

Flaykes are attracted to certain kinds of people: People with a “Glow” about their souls. This glow is invisible to the common eye, but all the colors of the soul are visible to Flaykes. They are attracted to this “glow” like mosquitoes to a bug zapper lol. Once befriended, a flayke will stay with that person the rest of their lives. When not perched on that person’s shoulders, or head for that matter, it rests in the head of the host. Or rather , the mind.

They are picky about their hosts, People as war forged as Vanilla may actually scare them away because her aura contains such malice . Flaykes actually hurt when they go near such an aura.

Having a flayke can be good. In normal combat prone Cilessians like Vanilla, they aren’t any real use, but in someone with more of a softer temperament, they can be used to unlock their true forms and use them in combat. They can also cast a number of spells depending on the Flayke’s corresponding element. These people are called “Flayers” or “Spiriters” (depending on the race). Normal Cilessians can only house one Flayke at a time. But Flayers can have up to eight. Master level flayers have the ability to summon the flayke into his or her body, creating a union of souls for as long as he or she is able to sustain that form.

A Cilessian, however cannot take the flayke into their bodies. The only race that can are humans due to their simple physique.

This occupation is not too popular, as Cilessians prefer hand-to-hand combat
Since they are primarily a warrior race, purebred Cilessians at the master level can only hold three or four Flaykes. And that is with the softest of temperaments.

Normal Cilessians can’t have Flaykes, only Flayers can use their powers.

The only Cilessian capable of wielding all Flaykes is Strawberry. This is due to the fact that she is only a Cilessian half-breed. (More on her as the V.I.P. list is updated)

Some flayers will only Accept Flaykes of a certain Element. These Flayers are called “Elementals” Their titles are arranged to the element they control:

Flayer + Shadow Flaykes = Shadow Flayer
Flayer + Gaia Flake = Gaia Flayer
Flayer + Fire Flayke = Spark Flayer
Flayer + Wind Flayke = Wind Flayer
Flayer + Hydro Flayke = Hydra Flayer
Flayer + Lumina Flayke = Lumina Flayer
Flayer + Chrono Flayke = Chrono Flayer
Flayer + Chaos Flayke = Chaos Flayer
Flayer + Cyber Flaykes = Cyber Flayer
Flayer + Spirit Flayke = Spirit Flayer
Flayer + Beast flake= Beast Flayer
Flayer + Eden Flayke = Eden Flayer
Flayer + God Flayke = Omni Flayer

The Jahannah Clan

This Cilessian tribe is sort of “The odd ball” of the Cilessians. They are more poets than warriors. However their kind has been scattered to the winds. They travel a lot, singing songs and writing of heroes and great deeds. They are the wiser of the Cilessian bunch. In the past they were renowned for the beauty and serenity of their females, and were considered the fairest of Cilessian kind. Too few of them remain however, with Paome and Strawberry’s mother being one of them.



WARRIOR CLASSES

Kuberahti Monks

Organized by the last remnants of the Kuberahti clan, they are the more reclusive bunch. They are like, Monks/ Priestesses/ Nuns . They keep their bodies pure of anything that would , in their definition , “taint” it. Including any sexual activity what so ever. They are content on life through discipline and the martial arts. Though they are among the fines warriors on Cilessia, they do not inflict harm on anyone as a precondition of being a Kuberahti. They are extremely faithful to the Cilessian goddess PraxxesDomina, and will go to no end to prove that loyalty. Kuberahti prefer non – edged weapons and fists for combat.

The Aegis Armada.

Or what’s left of it. The Aegis armada was Balbaros’ most elite fighting group. They were known as “the Omni Hand” because of their mastery of all known weapons types. Today, they exist only as small groups that uphold the forgotten ways of the Aegis. They are frowned upon for their loyalty to a practice created by a supposed “villain” , and fight still under the belief that their leader will return to them. Their culture is similar to that of earth’s samurai, in that they hold a strict code of honor.

Huntresses

By rights every Cilessian is a huntress, or else they just don’t eat. The Empress ExOdessa is against the raising of livestock for mass consumption. She is very old fashion and prefers that they hunt, to carry on the strength of the Cilessians. However, some find hunting extremely sporting. They would wade through miles of jungle for days on end, stalking one prey, and when they feel the need, they strike. These women are almost psychotic in their scrutiny. They will only go after big game, usually three times their size or more. At times, they would stalk each other for months, just for fun. Huntresses use small and curved daggers, various throwing weapons, capture tools and spears. Normal huntresses prefer to strike stealthy from a distance with a bow and arrow. The more sadistic prefer a close encounter with a spear like “Varia blade” . (Vanilla)

Because of their meticulousness and stealth, Huntresses can also double as assassins and Mercenaries.

War master

War masters are highly experienced warriors. They travel to other star systems to do battle and learn other forms of fighting. Upon their return , they teach what they have learned. War masters are exceptionally picky in choosing their students. They only take on one apprentice at a time. No exceptions. War masters are held in high regard by Cilessians (Like movie stars are on our world) and can usually get what they want simply by asking. The oldest war master is Ledia Syn’Fen (Lime) who taught the Empress ExOdessa herself. War masters have developed uncanny strength. They are able to wield large weapons as though they were nothing and with exceptional accuracy and speed.

Gladiator

Pretty self-explanatory I think. They are highly popular among the younger Cilessians. Gladiators fight exclusively in the coliseums. They revel in the fame and fortune they receive from honing their fighting abilities, and putting them to the ultimate test. Gladiators make a habit of traveling to other star systems to test their strength in the games of other species.

Royal guard? No

There are no royal guards, in fact, the entrance to the palace doesn’t even have doors. The belief is, if the empress cannot defend herself against a certain intruder, then she is simply not fit to rule. The gates are always open for supposed “usurpers” to challenge the Empress. The upside is, if you win, you get the throne, if you loose, you get embarrassed in a public display, and get your tail chopped off. (Just think of a guy getting publicly neutered), and that’s if you don’t beg for the Empress to take your life. To a Cilessian death is much better than being still alive with the fact that you ATTEMPTED to usurp the throne and failed. “Death before dishonor” is the belief.

There does exist a small volunteer corps of overseers that guard the castle fortress though. There purpose ultimately is not to protect the Empress from the challengers, but to attempt to dissuade the attackers from facing the indomitable Empress.

The Cilessian Army. The iron armada.

Since all Cilessians are trained for combat, all of them are technically part of the armed forces. However, ExOdessa does have a private army that serves a dual purpose. One: to of course protect Cilessia from invaders. And Two: to enforce laws and the restriction of Cilessia 5. Candidates for the Cilessian army are chosen carefully based on the willingness to serve, and their fighting abilities. Since Cilessian owned space is more or less secure, they are often called out to do battle on other planets. Members of the armed forces that have been to other wars in other star systems receive much respect back home.

There is no separation of the armed forces ,as in Army, Navy, Etc. All their war efforts are consolidated into one massive and powerful fighting force: The Iron Armada

Vo - Lysson Clans - War Blacksmiths and Jewelers

The Vo-Lisson clan has been active in Forging since the days of the old Cilessian wars. Their talents were initially meant for ceremonial purposes, but in those times, they were made to serve the will of war. The Vo-Lisson clansmen are by far the finest forgers known. They existed then as mostly elders who perfected and honed their skills through constant research and implementation.

Throughout their ages , The Vo- Lisson clan has never faltered from their perfection. They have turned their craft into an art form; forging only single weapons for specific users, rather than en-masse. To this day the have crafted all manner of weapons and armor for warriors , Staffs and Trinkets for Flayers, and even the horned crown that adorns the brow of the Empress herself.


Clandestonium. : An ESPECIALLY rare metal. It is said that every planet has only ounces of this metal. The metal is found in a molten state, but after it is cooled it becomes unbreakable by any means. Once in a very long while a sword made of this precious metal is granted to the finest warrior in the galaxy. ExOdessa possesses such a weapon. Recently it was granted to one other.
